Use Ovida to prepare for mentoring and supervision. Review shared session feedback against your chosen coaching framework, find moments worth discussing, and bring your own judgment to the conversation.
Why this is hard to supply
Mentor coaching is not optional and it is not something a program can automate away. The ICF sets the requirement itself: ten hours, spread over at least three months, delivered by a qualified mentor coach. Every applicant needs it, and the people qualified to give it are the same people with the least spare time.

Where the hour goes
Watching the recording back, finding the moments worth raising, writing them up. All of it necessary, none of it needing the person who is best in the room at supervision.
A session that opens by catching up on what happened spends its scarcest minutes on its least valuable activity, and the difficult part gets whatever time is left.
Oversight capacity quietly caps how many people one supervisor can genuinely develop, which means the size of your program is set by admin rather than by demand.
What changes
The session is transcribed, assessed and summarized before it reaches you, with the moments worth discussing already flagged and the reasoning shown. Consent is collected and managed for each participant rather than chased by you. The conversation starts at the difficult part instead of working its way towards it.
Ready before you open it
When preparation stops consuming the majority of the engagement, the same scarce expert can properly develop considerably more people.
More supervisees, same hoursYou open the session already knowing what happened, so the time goes to challenge, reflection and the conversation your supervisee actually needs.
Judgment, not catching upPeer supervision, co-coaching circles and alumni programs can run on structured feedback rather than on a faculty member being present for all of it.
Alumni engagement that scalesMentor coaching and supervision are where accreditation is actually earned, and they are the most expensive hours in the process.
The session arrives transcribed, assessed and with the moments worth raising already found. What is left is the part that genuinely needs an experienced human.
Oversight capacity, not demand, has always capped how many people one supervisor can properly develop. That cap is administrative, and it is the one this removes.
By the time a session has been reviewed and written up the old way, they have run six more and can no longer remember the moment being described to them.
